This process relies on computer-generated sketches using CAM/CAD technology to thin and stretch the sheet, shaping it into the desired form. Lastly, metal presses can also emboss metal sheets by stamping a design into the metal from the back, resulting in an elevated pattern on the front of the piece. Different companies may require embossed serial numbers, brand names, or other stamped details on the metal they use.
