Our expertise lies in reducing costs by converting various metal forming processes, such as screw machining, tube fabricating, and cold heading, to our deep drawn process. This is achieved through the use of our high-speed transfer presses. We pride ourselves on being true partners with our customers. We visit their facilities, assess their current processes, and assist in determining how they can transition to deep drawn stamping. Our specialization lies in providing deep drawn part conversions for small components used in a wide range of applications, including small appliances, gauges, sensors, control valves, plumbing accessories, and many others. Our typical parts range from .125" to 3.0" in length, with diameters ranging from .08" to 2.0", and a thickness of .008" to .050". However, we also have the capability to manufacture larger parts. Our deep drawn stamping services can be applied to various materials, such as brass, copper, aluminum, stainless steel, cold rolled steel, and inconel. We can accommodate volumes as small as 50,000, with the capacity to handle millions of parts efficiently. When compared to other metal shaping processes, deep drawn conversion offers several advantages. Firstly, it significantly reduces tool construction costs, especially when compared to progressive die stamping. Additionally, deep drawing allows for the production of lightweight components without compromising their strength or integrity. The process subjects the metal to significant deformation, stretching its crystalline structure to its limits, resulting in a material that is in its hardest state upon completion. Furthermore, when manufacturing cylindrical parts, such as cans, metal deep drawing is the ideal solution. It enables the easy transformation of a circular metal blank into a 3D circular object, minimizing production times and costs by utilizing multiple draw ratios in a single press.
